One of the projects I am most proud to be involved in is Grow Wild, a lottery funded scheme run by Kew Gardens. The project aims reverse the loss of wildflowers across Britain, which not only look nice but form an important part of nature as food sources for bees, butterflies and other insects.
The project includes free seeds for community groups and the opportunity to bid for funds to create new wildflower sites. I have had the privilege of being on the judging panel for some of those sites in Wales and am very happy with what we have chosen. To see details of all the projects look here.
