It is a quiet time of year for ecology work but there are still things going on.

If you live in Cardiff or Newport look out for the first Levan Ecology article in City Link magazine.

As many animals go into hibernation it is a great time for surveying others. Signs of otters and badgers are often easier to spot when summer vegetation has died back.

It is also of course time to start planning already for next year. Take a look at my offer for newt surveys in May 2017  for as little as £1200. It may seem a long way off but planning well ahead for ecology work can avoid costly delays. You can also ask for prices for reptile, dormouse and water vole surveys as well as preliminary appraisals and ecological mitigation work.
