This service combines a desktop study of existing records with a Phase 1 Habitat Survey following methods published by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee. The end result is a report including a map of natural habitats on a site, an appraisal of the habitats and species likely to use them and recommendations. The appraisal will identify if anything on site is a potential issue for future planning applications or nature conservation laws and where further information from specialist surveys is needed.
Depending on what the appraisal is for and the findings recommendations might include.
