This work for TACP was carried out on a former playing field where a new school was being built. Part of the site was suitable for reptiles and had been fenced off with reptile proof fencing to prevent them entering working areas and being killed or injured.

Because this area was small, and will eventually be needed for the school I was involved in moving the reptiles, slow worms and common lizards, from the fenced area to suitable habitat nearby.

Slow worm

This allowed work on the site to carry on without delay while the animals were protected in their new home.
